Moot do you think it's possible to put candles on Savage Oppress' horns & light them up to make him look like a zabrak menorah? 🤔

i think so, but it would not be a kosher hanukkiah bc he has too few horns and the non-shamash horns/candles would not be equal heights! also obviously you'd need to make candle rings around his horns so he wouldn't get burnt by wax.

I finally got round to completing my set of character portraits for our D&D Riencing Campaign! We used to have a bigger group but sadly some folks had to drop out due to other commitments so we’re down the Mighty Four, travelling the continent in search of some mysterious glowy orbs:

Skaan Tillyklad, air genasi bard: urchin on the run and aiming to become the next thief king

Theryn ‘Thezza’ Moonsparkle, wood elf fighter: exiled soldier and a dumbass with a big heart and a bigger sword (and Etney’s best bud!)

Etney Bronzetooth, dragonborn ranger: a sharpshooting mountaineer on the hunt for the cure to a curse

Vaash ???, the orc paladin: an oath-breaking mercenary who does some shady bounty hunting on the side

For the recent ask game you reblogged: how did Gi and Savage confess to each other? (💜)

The funny thing is, they didn't really talk about the relationship until after Maul's former master skewered one of Savage's hearts. After that, they had a lot of time to talk, theoretically.

Savage asked Gi about Mandalorian traditions around relationships, at first, and even shared a bit about Dathomirian traditions surrounding the topic despite his discomfort, but that was really just build-up. It still took a while after that before a confession happened, despite it being fairly obvious to anyone around them that they wouldn't just be going their separate ways.

It's maybe a bit trite, and oddly oblique, but the way Savage confessed was calling Gi cyare. He had been thinking about saying something for a while by then. Gi translated it into Basic for him, to confirm that he knew what he was saying, and when he didn't backtrack, Gi took and held his hand, then rested their head against his shoulder. They didn't talk about it much beyond that, Gi because... they felt it would be temporary. Gi has fairly orthodox relationship goals, as far as mando'ade go, and a temporary relationship wasn't really what they were looking for, but they'd rather take the what time they could have with Savage and burn that bridge when they came to it. And Savage, because he didn't know, yet. It wasn't until the ex tempore marriage vows that they both knew they were on the same page in that regard, which is a bit awkward. Communication? Idk her...

i keep pondering vaash. i feel like he would deny himself many comforts. it's noticeable enough that it even frustrates maul sometimes. any comforts savage doesn't deny himself are ones he believes are relatively inconsequential. like, spending time in the vicinity of groups of mandos, not interacting, but within earshot so he can pretend he's back with the nightbrothers. but if he catches himself at it, he leaves. he doesn't deserve the pretense.

also i love the hc from a fic on ao3 that his favourite body part is his prosthetic arm. only part not there for the meditated murder of his brother. only part not obedient flesh.

his ability to feel through it is limited but it's the most worthy part of him to touch anything valuable. to enact anything he wants, what little he allows himself.
