Day 57: Working Out on Vacation
We recently returned from a winter getaway to the Dominican! We stayed at a familiar resort. I was so excited for the all-inclusive vibes, pool time, sunshine, and...THE GYM.
Y'all, this place has a phenomenal gym. There are lots of rooms - cardio center, spin room, Yoga/Pilates studio, training room, stretching areas -- it has everything.
I kept refreshing the app prior to our arrival so I could see the most up-to-date classes. I love taking group fitness classes during my travels. It's a chance to unwind, rekindle a passion for my own fitness, learn new styles and cues, and have fun.
During our trip, I took
circuit fitness (ended up being a private session!)

Vacation workout Tip #3
Be creative. Find a nearby park, trail, hill, jungle gym or just a small grassy space. Workouts can be done anywhere if you set your mind to it!

Det är mörkt ute, alldeles ljummet, massa okända dofter, hjärnan är som vadd efter att vi klev upp 03.30 i morse, men veckan som väntar är helt oplanerad och alldeles kravlös. Vi har landat på hotellet på vår Greklandssemester, lätt nollställda och öppna för att ta dagen som den kommer.

5/13/14 Anniversary Workout
6 mile biking (Downtown San Antonio, this sucked) At the gym: Treadmill Sprints 12 rounds (5 min warm up; 40 sec sprint, 60 second walk, 60 second run) increased sprints until 6:53/mile and then back down) OH DB Walking Lunges: 4x8@20# DB Straight Leg Dead Lifts: 5x8@50# DB Goblet Squats: 4x10@45#
