Eeth Koth's fate will always be the most heartbreaking moment in this comic.

For context, this is a Vader comic series that shows his early first years as Sidious's apprentice, and Sidious sends him and the Inquisitors to capture Force sensitive children. Eeth Koth is a Jedi Master that had a child after surviving Order 66 and he fought Vader off for a good bit until he had a moment of distraction upon seeing his newborn baby, and Vader snapped his neck.

One thing I really love about this Vader comic series is how it forces Anakin to confront his past, every trauma, every mistake, every insecurity he’s tried to bury. And the most compelling part is that he tries to change, but in his own broken way, chasing this fragile, doomed wish-fulfillment through Sabé, where he’s trying to rewrite history without ever truly healing from it.

I like to think Vader knew 0-0-0 and Black Krrsantan were going to save Aphra from dying in space.

She knew too much for him to let her near her and it's much easier to say "uh yeah I tried to kill her, not my fault she survived" than to explain "yeah i mayhaps let her go" to the Emperor.

Maybe it was his twisted way of showing mercy.

Palpatine literally tells Vader straight after his whole Padmé’s dead temper tantrum that he “understands this has been a… traumatic time” like he wasn’t the guy who is responsible for the vast majority of the trauma and actively planned a good portion of it out
