I Love This MOD #1
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition | Vainiuss1’s DMC V Nero Mod
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition | Vainiuss1's DMC V Nero Mod
An update on @vainiuss1‘s Dante mods for Marvel vs CapCom Infinite.
So because it’s almost that time of the month for me, I actually got emotional (Yesterday, to be exact) over this mod. On top of that, I wanted to eat more than just a 10-12 inch pizza. Well, what can I say? I love Devil May Cry, especially @vainiuss1′s mods.
You got it ^_^ **Warning: Long life story for the first answer, and long explanations for some others** Q: Are you self taught? Or do you take classes? A: I’m self taught. However, I did take 3 and a half years of art class in high school because back then, I wanted to go to art college/university for video games and/or animation. I’m not sure if things have changed with how attending colleges and universities work in Ontario, Canada now but back then, in order to be eligible to attend certain art schools, you had to take 3-4 years of art class with marks ranging between 75 and 100 percent. I wanted to go to Sheridan (Oakville) or Seneca. After high school (And passing these art classes with the goal marks), I had 2nd thoughts about wanting to be an animator or video game creator due to money problems, how I don’t do well in urban environments, and how I realized that you don’t get much creative freedom when working in these industries. So in the end, I just decided to draw for fun. Even make a bit of a profit off of it. But a few years ago, I went to college for esthetics. It was something my mom suggested, it was something different I wanted to try, and it was also a way of finding myself (Turns out I’m good at, and like massaging and doing facials). I ended up working at 3 different spas, side-by-side with my current job (Part time cashier). In the end, I got kicked out of them due to being insufficient with nails and waxing (Which are huge~ in the beauty industry, and aren’t my thing), and not being certified for certain subjects. The college I attended was a bit of a ripoff. They make promises, only to break them in the end. We take an 8 month course, costing $14 thousand CDN, only to get a diploma in the end...No certificates...I passed every subject, too. So I’m having 2nd thoughts about that career path, and still stuck being a part time cashier. I’m hoping to get out of my current job soon, and move onto something I’m more comfortable with. With this economy of ours’, it’s hard to find good, permanent part time and/or full time jobs, which is why I’ve stayed stuck as a cashier in the same company (Sobeys) for almost 9 years. It’s the only job I can afford, for now. I have handed out a lot of resumes. I got some calls back but their job start times are extremely inconvenient. They expect you to start in 24-48 hours. My current job expects a 2 week notice. I don’t want to have to risk going to a new job, only to get fired and not get rehired back to my current job (It happened to one of my coworkers where she gave a 4 day notice about switching jobs. Now she’s not allowed to work at that Sobeys store anymore due to this ‘short’ notice). To this day, I still have not gotten calls or emails back from all the other places I’ve handed resumes to. Eventually, I do plan on making my drawings as a part time or full time job, since I’ve had quite a bit of people on Deviantart and Fur Affinity messaging me about wanting things from me. I have done commissions in the past (And charged really cheap, too, which was silly of me. That definitely will change when I start accepting commissions again). But due to the sporadic scheduling system of my current job, and things being thrown in my face from all over, it’s hard to find the motivation and right times to draw more often. So I have put commissions on hold till I get things straightened out (Still need to finish just one commission from 3 years ago...). Occasionally, I still submit things of my own ideas from time to time. Q: How long have you been drawing? A: Since I was 3. Well, technically since I was 6 because that’s when I started drawing a lot more often, and creating bizarre stories. Q: Do you consider yourself as a good artist? A: Every artist has their own styles and ways of creating art. Therefore, I consider every artist as good. However, since this is a question about me, I consider myself good with line work, concept ideas, and colour choices for flat colours. But I’m horrible with highlighting, shading, perspectives, human hair, and fabric. I’m also lazy at making backgrounds, so I tend to leave backgrounds out.... Q: What annoys you most about being an artist? A: Lack of motivation. Q: What do you draw the most? A: Werebeasts. Part of it has to do with my interests, and the other part is what most of my followers on Deviantart and Fur Affinity want from me. Q: How old are you? A: 26 (Turning 27 on March 5th). Q: Has someone said you were bad? A: I’ve had a few “trolls” and “attention seekers” drop by, so yes. Q: Who inspired you? A: Not who, what. Basically video games (Mainly CapCom, Oddworld Inhabitants, Crystal Dynamics, Valve, Konami, and Square-Enix) and Hollywood (Mainly horror, sci-fi, and fantasy films) are what got me inspired. There are obviously artists that work in these industries but it’s hard to keep track on who creates what. And quite a bit of them don’t get credited, so that makes it hard for me to know and remember who made concepts for what. I can say, though, that the artist that inspired me for how I draw people would be Naru Omori. Just that hyper-realistic anime and/or caricatured look to his character renders are what I find neat. Q: What do you think about (Insert any artist’s name here)’s work? A: I think Jorge Fernando’s work is horrifyingly crazy, funny, and cool. Q: How do you come up with such a pen name like yours? A: I have quite a bit of usernames: 1. My Tumblr and Youtube name, Adaru32 (Old Youtube name was adellerulli, which is just a condensed version of my first and last name). I even use this username for my Facebook page. Adaru is my first name in Japanese. The #3 for the 32 stands for Devil May Cry 3. And the #2 in 32 stands for Kingdom Hearts 2. 2. My Deviantart name, DanteVergilLoverAR. ‘DanteVergil’ meaning Dante and Vergil from Devil May Cry. The ‘Lover’ part means that they are my most favourite characters (In other words, I ‘love’ them). And ‘AR’ is my initials. 3. My Fur Affinity name, MoonBeast-AR. And Steam name, moonbeastar (I changed it to Adaru32 but my login remains as moonbeastar. So not sure if people see it as Adaru32, or the other way around). The moonbeast part is just another name for a werewolf, since I like to imagine myself as one. And the AR being my initials. 4. My Xbox account, ADNRV. The ‘A’ for my first name, Adelle. The ‘D’ for Dante. The ‘N’ for Nero. The ‘R’ for my last name, Rulli. And the ‘V’ for Vergil. 5. My Playstation name, Adaru37. Same as Adaru32 but the #7 stands for Final Fantasy 7.
