Hey! I'm not personally a ValDust shipper but I think the reason people like it is because of the awful power imbalance. I can't personally get behind it, however we all have our opinions, don't harass people over it, block if you wish, etc. Just wanted to put my two cents in cause I have a friend who is one.

Oh dont worry, I will never harass or block people over who they ship.

There's people that like that dynamic, and I don't understand it but I'm not gonna hate on them or judge them. It's not my place.

One of my favorite things to do is ship things in pairs. My favorite being any combo between Vox, Valentino, Alastor, and Angel Dust.

StaticMoth and RadioDust, I dislike RadioDust, but together, they make a funny shipping duo.

StaticDust and Valastor, in my head it gives me the funny scenario where Vox and Angel get together to spite Alastor and Valentino.

RadioStatic and ValAngel, NOT IN THE PRESENT TIME. I like to ship these together in the past and imagine Vox, Alastor, Angel, and Val double dating all the time (Aka, Vox and Alastor tag along Val and Angel's dates and Alastor thinks it's a double date).

So just heard this song and for some reason, it gave me Angel Dust x Valentiono and Alastor x Vox vibes but different tones. For reference i see Alastor and Angel as the woman's, Brye's voice, and Vox and Valentino as Cavetown.

I can't explain why my brain just saw it but they're very different tones. With Alastor he sings it mockingly to prey on Vox's insecurities and also after he manages to break his deal with Rosie and reveals he was just using and manipulating him.

Angel Dust i see it more as him finally being freed from his deal with Val and finally just saying everything he's been holding back now that Val doesn't own his soul.
