Need some help with a Fallout OC!

A bit nervous posting this but I want to make sure I'm not doing something bad. I'd rather people get upset and angry before I make a huge mistake.

Anyway, my boyfriend and I have created two Sole Survivor characters together, Nathan and Valentina Garcia. We're pretty confident in how we've created Nathan but I'm worried about Valentina.

I wanted to create more diverse characters since my OC roster is mostly just normal white women with depression. But I'm worried I may have accidentally gone too overboard with it?

I'm a white woman and I obviously don't want to create a character full of different qualities purely just to have them there. I want tto make sure I'm doing it right.

Valentina Garcia is a Mexican woman with vitiligo. It mostly affects her face, neck, hands and a couple other places on her body. She also has DID. This came from gameplay as my boyfriend and I play her -swapping each time we die- and we have very different playstyles and wanted a lore safe explanation for the drastic changes.

She develops her DID due to constant physical abuse from her stepfather. She only has one alter called Mariana who's very tough and defensive, wanting to be alone but not afraid to put someone in their place.

I admit the Vitiligo idea was just from us looking at the 'splotches' option on the character customisation and thinking that would be cool so we have no problems getting rid of that element of her character if it is offensive.

I'm really sorry if my first concept for Valentina is offensive in any way and if anyone wants to talk and help me improve her I would love the help! I'm also sorry if me even asking for help is bad!
