     she’d been perfectly happy, sat with the leftovers of her hunt when she’d heard the noise. someone was close. out of fear, she’d shifted back to human and luckily, she had clothes in the small den she’d created not too long ago. going from city to city wasn’t easy, but she made it work when things became boring or there was a risk of being caught by hunters. “wait--wait- i can explain-”  what was there to explain? she’d been seen, shifting from white wolf to girl.  “whatever you think you saw, you didn’t.”

     “Uh --- you look.. angry, Allison. I know that’s probably not something that you need to be told or anything, but..” Giving her a slight shrug, Isaac crossed his arms, quiet for a few moments. He wasn’t exactly great at helping people with those sort of problems. “Is there.. anything I can do?”

She wasn’t wrong in that aspect of noticing. Even though that night where he got the opportunity to paint her body with the glowing colors, it ended badly for nearly the rest of his pack. But now, they were alone. “How’d you know?” He inquired, a smirk curling at the edge of his lips.

( @valeureux​ ‘s allison keeps thinking the worst of people, so here’s something for allison to actually be right about)

she’d hear it when she was out for a jog, a giggle and a flash of glowing eyes.  a shadow that lingered too long on the side of her vision. an overcast day already, the fog had subtly started to thicken over her jog, and it wasn’t until allison rounded a corner that it happened.

the path ended in a clearing, thick trees that weren’t natural to California surrounding a stone and wooden ruined house. in the middle sat the shadow, with twinkling eyes and an aura of grime.
