Your tag for Eric Matthews posts always makes me chuckle. But I'm not sure I remember the source! Is it from the episode where he think he has a glamorous model job and ends up in a lobster suit?

"it’s just a miracle that they found each other." I love your wording here, because they were assigned each other, but they DID find each other, as that relationship developed, Perry and Heinz have found more sides to each other than most have seen.

That last part, yessssss. I'm completely helpless thinking about how well they're written, that we get to discover how complicated they are right along with them. :)

I'm so upset, YOU KNOW WHAT--Heinz doesn't really shoulder the blame here, at least not out loud. He's thinking about what just happened, and he says that at least his relationship with Perry has "worked out." If he can't be close to his father, it's not all his fault, and it's not all his father's. It's just something that, by chance, can't be what he wants it to be. But his mind immediately goes to Perry, who's somehow there beside him, and it's just a miracle that they found each other. And like, he feels like that just "worked out" not because of anything he's done but just because it works. And maybe if he had nothing to do with that, then he doesn't have anything to do with his strained family relationships. It just happened that way. 

I hope he's at least beginning to understand that. :')

My NOTP is Hater/Wander! (which makes me feel like I'm doing that particular fandom wrong.)

I ship it, but not really? I love their interactions, I love that Hater plays video games in which he tries to resist Wander's hugs, I love that Wander's reaction to everything Hater does is to try to cheer him up and tell him he's doing a good job. !!! But Wander's relationship with Sylvia is so great and kind of the stuff that holds the show together, and I don't actually expect anything from Wander/Hater other than Hater being more willing to tolerate him and hopefully work with him eventually! But villains being worn down by optimistic heroes is so much my jam. :)
