If your puritan sensibilities are offended, you can kiss my ass :)
One of the most beautiful and relaxing places I’ve ever been to: Valley View Hot Springs at the Orient Land-Trust in Colorado. The whole preserve is clothing optional, which makes the experience that much more relaxing.
My computer recently crashed, and with it died most of my pictures from all of my road-trips and travels.. bummer. But I think that just means I need to travel more and take new pictures (and back them up more regularly)—did I ever mention I’m moving to Europe?
In August, I packed everything I own into my little silver car, and left Denver. I drove to Chicago, then Cincinnati, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Tallahassee... and now I’m in South Florida for another couple weeks before flying out to Barcelona on a one way ticket, with what feels like too much luggage and probably too little cash; I’ll make it work though.
I’m moving to Barcelona to teach English—and to be in Barcelona, (let’s be honest here: I am moving like 15 minutes away from the Camp Nou), I know my priorities—I am chasing a dream I’ve had since I was a kid, and I couldn’t be more scared/excited, ready.
Right now, I am reminiscing on the few fotos I have left, the few still saved somewhere in the inter-webs, and the memories of hot-springs, colorado skies, and utah red wind-shaped skin... but my plan is always to come back to the west and the mountains I love. In fact, maybe getting a van and building myself a tiny home and driving across the states on my way back to colorado might be how it all happens... Whatever it ends up being, those are dreams for the future. T minus 14 days: dreams for right now!
Wish me luck.
P.S. - Feel free to follow my Instagram (Which I sometimes update more regularly than this).
If I have any followers that live in Europe, or specifically Barcelona, that would be cool to know!
