She had been working more and more despite her wishes to slow down. Her mind and body yearned for a break but her agency didn’t deem that fit. They constantly reminded Devon how she was lucky to still maintain her look aka she hadn’t aged enough for her to get the boot in the modeling world. Sometimes, she just wanted to let go and forget about the fashion tape and concealer. Against her publicists wishes, she went out without being glammed for hours. All she wanted was a beer, not an invitation to the Oscars. She wrapped her hand around the glass, taking a swig and letting out a sound of refreshment. “Nothing does it like a good beer,” she murmured to herself; and whoever could possibly hear her. She ignored the rings coming from her phone, going ahead and ordering another Corona with a lime. She looked over at the brunette, her eyes gazing her nearly empty drink. “Looks like you need a refill,” the blonde insisted coyly.
