Jodie @relish_books recommended this author and book - The Mermaids Singing by Val McDermid. “Several murder victims are found in the same area. They have all been tortured. Psychologist Tony Hill is brought in to work with the police. Soon he becomes a target and will have to use all of his wit to survive.” Thank you Jodie for introducing me to this author. This is some great crime fiction. The killer is a scary one and demented. Tony has issues and a surprising link to the killer. A wild conclusion to this one. Fans of Slaughter and Kepler should enjoy McDermid.
