          The redhead was referring to the incident with Bucky.           It was a different way of getting to know someone for a first            meeting. The ballerina figured they should lay some ground           rules but not too much. Rules were usually meant to be broken.

         "Didn’t say that he was", came the retort, running a hand through his hair, causing a slight mess. 

         Considering that, he leaned over the door of the shower stall, regarding Tony thoughtfully. “How’s the flexibility?” That was the first question that came to mind. If he had no freedom of movement, there was no point.

"Better than anything Coulson came up with, since he was more interested in showing off your ass than keeping it safe," Tony shot back, unzipping his hoodie a bit. Did Cap really have to have the shower on to about 900 degrees?

"I added extra articulation around the joints while simultaneously building in braces for, you know, the really fun eventuality of something getting broken. It means you won't be out of commission."

››this is a sort of psa for any steves out there that would be interested in plotting with myself and iron man (getinthefunvee). we’ve come up with a basic outline for a thread, but as steve’s one of the key players, we can’t start without him.

> plot: steve tracks down bucky , who isn’t fairing too well by himself. he persuades bucky to come with him (through lots of childhood quotes and emotional manipulation), and they wind up at stark tower, where steve begs tony for a place for him and bucky to stay while he tries to sort out this whole mess. cue tony staring into the face of his parents’ killer, and a whole lot of stuff going down.

there’s also potential for a lot more threads other than this one (i.e, tony fixing bucky’s arm while steve’s there as support, service dog au which is a thing that’s going to happen etc).

Dragonryder stalked through the streets, her black bodysuit glinting in the streetlights. The katana in her hand was currently blood-free, and the demon in her head was screaming in protest at that. But it had been a fairly quiet night, only a few muggers, nothing serious enough to cause her to indulge her bloodthirsty inner animal.

A commotion from a nearby alley caught her attention and she sprinted over, only to find that someone had beaten her to it.

She stared at the man, in a blue mask that obscured his hair color, and carried a gigantic shield decorated similarly to his outfit--blue, with red and white stripes and a white star.

Standing in a falsely casual pose--he looked like a superhero, but that didn't mean anything in Dragonryder's book--she called out, "The shield's a new one. Thought I'd heard of most weapons in use nowadays."
