If Pyro were one of the starter vamps, who would you want to be a starter vamp with them? And do you think that would make him more or less of a wet cat?

answering the second question first: if pyro is an old vampire I think he'd be scott goldsmith level insufferable. just fully separating himself from "the cattle" and overall employing the rhetoric he does in canon but after centuries he's FULLY believing his own bullshit. I think less of a wet cat in the sense that he's had centuries to hone his persona and powers and is far more uncaring. newer vampire starter pyro is still a wet cat

now as for his starting vampire colleague there's a lot to think about.... I think I've heard talk of doc or apo before and those are obviously fun... I think if pyro was with owen they'd just be the most dramatic pairing ever they're constantly evil monologuing at the town and all. hm I think shelby would be really interesting? because starter vamp shelby would be fully just "you're all going in my found family boxes ^_^ teehee" and I think that could bounce really well off of pyro who is just fully embracing his vampirism. they'd assemble world's worst nuclear vampire family and be so invested in creating a story out of the town's massacre/mass turning. yeah I might go with shelby for the purposes of this ask

gonna be real I first read that as "biteable" and was like "owen sure has thought about it"

he is very blindable.... we don't know how poor his vision is in his good eye but those lenses are not for show.... I think for my headcanon he can still see in his good eye fairly well but he's nearsighted.

I'd imagine the monocle could easily get lost in a fight. he didn't come to oakhurst expecting altercations so I doubt he came in expecting to have to worry about something like that. not sure how he'd work around that once fighting is very much common (like session 6)... we're many decades away from contact lenses being popular. as a fellow guy with a bad left eye I sympathize. sorry doc.

what I'd love to see more of is exploring how badly owen hurt legs. like legs's turning is cruel. it's violent. it's assault. legs trusted owen once and owen shattered that trust. the ramifications and consequences of this.....

their interactions are so iconic. god. the way they talk to each other. they're just all so good. their sunrise and sunset on their lives. legs wanted to badly to change and owen wouldn't let him, dragging him down with him, but legs still resisted and managed to save someone in the end, not letting owen destroy the doctor

that's all I can articulate about them right now but they're so fucked up they're so appealing. I'm obsessed with them. what did they put into bloodletting holy shit. I’m gonna make them a textpost moodboard now

I have my idea in want to stay au that apo and cherri call each other cherry pie and apple pie respectively, and I think it’d be funny if they eventually debated over what kind of pie doc is so they can call him something. doc is baffled

I love the idea of legs, martyn and owen traveling together.

I wonder whether martyn would completely give up his scamming ways while being an assistant. I think it would be funny if he still occasionally tried to scam people. Legs gets told his assistant is causing problems and he sighs and asks who owen threatened this time and the now confused civilian informs him it's actually his other assistant.

also all three of them are very used to living and managing on their own and i feel like that would make for some interesting dynamics

I think out of habit martyn might keep scamming but he'd try to stop if it negatively affects legs... martyn isn't used to having legit and consistent work, so this is new to him! and I think doc would deeply recognize that stumble into changing your habits......

could the power of friendship with doc save cleo and apo's relationship? maybe!

I am actually obsessed with the dynamic here, because apo and cleo both care about doc, and depending on how early the team up happens it might just be bickering and not. full on hatred (cleo implicitly only hates apo after she turns sausage, and apo after cleo goes full team vampire). they both want their friend back... but doc is convincing himself that there's no reason for him to want himself back...

probably annoyed. like (scott voice) everything was going just fine, why does pyro have to come back and ruin this for me- I mean us?

I really don't think scott would acknowledge (at least not by this point) the harm that he caused pyro. drift would be too scared to confront him about it. so.

he'd see pyro's reappearance as an invasion of his good ending because now things are messy. shelby's freaking out, drift's freaking out, it's just too many new pieces on the gameboard. pyro's a cheater in scott's game of life. they lost fair and square, so why should they have to come in for another go? after everything scott gave them? ungrateful much?

but scott plays nice, because look see, he's changing. (scott voice) see, pyro? this could've been you. if you were just better at playing the game, it could've been you living peacefully for another century. it could've been you that shelby chose to spend eternity with, but she chose me. because I chose to be better. unlike you.
