Today is the anniversary of one of my favorite games in principle Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. It's worth breaking the silence for the sake of it, because 20 years of the legend is wow! I remember falling in love with it from the very first frames, I was about 11-12 years old (now 28), no more. It's been lodged in my heart ever since and I steadily go back to it and replay it every few years. And when I was just a teenager, I played it on repeat right up until the boat bug in Society of Leopold…. Yeah, I didn't find out how it ends until I was about 17. And the first time I even cried from the ending, because SO MANY TIMES I couldn't experience it in person. Because of VtMB, I basically became interested in roleplaying games (like many, I think). The game has shaped my tastes in many ways, because of it I met my friends who we've been together for over a decade, started drawing. All in all, it really is a legend.
When the idea to participate in the game's birthday promotion from VtMB-ask came up, I entered after 12 seconds as soon as I could. And, of course, I chose to draw Damsel. My favorite heroine, the first crush, the best female VtMB character in my taste, and the one who partly influenced my tastes in terms of female characters.
Thank you to the developers and everyone involved in this masterpiece. Love with all my heart and pleasantly nostalgic for the game of my teenage years and beyond. Legends!
