Ok. Someone make a fic that takes place in eps 7, sometime after Avid kisses Scott, where Scott gets forced cured and turns human. Owen and Pyro put off their plan to kill Avid in order to team up with all the vamps to get Scott back.

BUTTTTTT Scott is Blind. He was blind as a human and turned to vampirism to cure his blindness and now he is back.

Had a really fun idea for a VSMP au...

Demon Avid hiding amongst the humans.

So, from what I've gathered, he's already a really sporadic person, he puts his all into everything and he's paranoid and scared.

What if, while running from one of the vampires (or maybe he just got spooked and took off running) he ends up falling into a large hole and dying... Except he doesn't die and he wakes back up as a demon. A very exhausted and tired demon.

He's found by Drift and he can't even explain his changes because he doesn't even know what he is. Drift helps him calm down and they learn that the physical changes are tied to his emotions.

His nails (sharp enough to be claws) are permanently black, but that's fine by him. His eyes hide emotions and look dead to everyone else. His hair is a bit darker. Little things that tell everyone that something is different about him but no one can pinpoint what. No one has entirely clocked in that Avid is no longer human.

Except the Vampires can smell it. Can smell another entity in the area. Scott was baffled that it was Avid, but it makes his earlier behavior reasonable.

Owen is almost certain that he's died and entered another reality. Shelby is worried about Avid's well-being, and Pyro is anxious about what this means.

It's Martyn and Ren that end up discovering that Avid is harmed by Holy Water, but not quite silver. It leaves rashes on Avid but it doesn't harm him-harm him.

Drift is protective of him, while also weary cause she knows that Avid isn't sure how much of himself is changed or that he can control.

At some point, Acid would end up leaving the humans, probably after Drift is turned into a Vampire, and ends up Coven Adjacent cause I love my coven.

Of course, this means I get to play with instincts, nesting and bonding and protective versus possessive. I think a lot of animals and creatures would have similar instincts that are shown differently which would be so so fun to play with.

It almost means I need to force myself (it's a mentality and audhd thing) to watch Avid's POV finally, cause I think it would be really fun to see what I can cause to change in the series with Avid being not human.

Upon the request, Avid scrambled to the rescue. He had bandages, tiny tourniquets, and more. “IS SHE OKAY? HOW BAD ARE HER INJURIES?!” He yelped, pouncing to help her.
