Workers were recently expanding a road in Luzino, Poland when they unearthed some loose human bones near a church — and a subsequent archaeological dig has now revealed a chilling discovery. Researchers have uncovered the remains of 450 skeletons in a 19th-century mass grave where many of the bodies had been dug up and reburied. Some had even been decapitated and had their skull placed between their legs, while others had coins placed in their mouths, and 20 to 30 percent had bricks arranged alongside their head, arms, and legs — all measures to prevent these "vampires" from rising up out of their graves.
