ignore the shitpost previous but i give you; paranormal poolverine. my own little brainstorm about the vampires and werewolves trope and how i think it would’ve made logan immortal still
logan was born a werewolf in roughly the year 1822, he’d been conceived out of wedlock and his mother, who under the impression no foul behaviours would ever fall upon her precious son like his father, hid the origins of her pregnancy. they managed as a family until the night (much similar to origins) where logan began to change. long heavy claws and sharp snarling teeth doing damage he scared himself with.
that night he fled from his home and disappeared into the woods, allowing nature to reclaim him and his instincts.
he lived like that for years before, again like origins, he met a man named stryker who promised him normalcy. stryker said if he would just participate in his study logan would be turned into something even more powerful but more importantly even more human. he’d never have to turn again by force, could wield his beastly form at will and would be nearly indistinguishable from an average person.
stryker of course was lying, he’s a vampire who sought out an army of others like him. deciding immortals weren’t enough and attempting to sire hybrids with logan as his plaything.
we all know how that went, he escaped with scraps of his old self and spent the rest of his time on the run.
enter wade; a newly turned vampire who’s turning didn’t cure his cancer but rather rapidly progressed it- leaving him horribly wounded and horribly alone with his overpowering urge to hurt and destroy. nobody would’ve been able to survive getting close to him let alone understand him.
they meet either by canon terms to dp&w or by chance and slowly begin to realize that maybe immortality isn’t such a curse with the other at their side. maybe someone finally gets it
