FUN FACT, my vampire Eclipse would literally Doordash for fun just to mess with people on the off chance someone DID invite him in? He's... more of a cheeky menace than a real danger..
Usually.
He's more of an... Upstart kid brother to Sun, and Moon definitely has a grumpy older brother feel, though none are 'technically' related. Eclipse's origins in this are still a little bit of a toss up, but he's definitely a middle ground, playing the game on his own side kind of character vs an outright antagonist or ally. It's still very much in the works for long term plot though.
He's a cheeky little shit that's still enjoying the powers of being a vampire, and he can definitely be a bit of a brat about it when people don't react as expected.

Stars Don’t Shine…They Burn
Another fork covered in cake and frosting is raised to your lips, yet you do not open them. Cheeks stuffed full of the last two bites. Soft cooing rolls behind you and a handkerchief raises to meet you cheek, wiping some stray crumbs away.
Eclipse smiles as he lowers his hands but still keeps the one holding the fork in place. “Is it yummy little star? We made sure to incorporate your favorites~.”
Sun chuckles, setting down another HUGEMONGUS present on the coffee table. Thankfully it was the last one, but the poor table was barely standing with the weight of a mountain upon it. The Knight walks over and pinches your other cheek, “such a cute little sunspot~. Yes you are! Yes you are!”
Moon nuzzles into the crown of your head, holding you closer to his person and repositioning you on his lap so you would be more comfortable. “After cake, we’ll open your presents. Then, we’ll all sleep in our room tonight. Our little baby…I can’t believe another birthday has passed.”
Eclipse puts the fork in your mouth before you can retort, “and even though you are getting older—,”
Sun beams, “you’ll always be our precious baby girl. Still such a sweet infant…”
All three grin, “Happy birthday…our wonderful Star.”
Poor Unfortunate Soul
Purrs and chirps fill the night sky. You had snuck out to meet up with your friends at your usual spot, following their instructions exactly. And now, you were having a giant cuddle party! It was perfect.
All three of your friends were rubbing up against you a lot though. And kept mumbling about “scent marking” or whatever that is. Before you can ponder more about their strange habits, a colorful shell and pearl necklace is lowered into your lap.
You gasp and look up at your friends with wide eyes. “For me?!”
Sun nuzzles into your hair, “yes! Only the best for our guppy!”
“You deserve more, but this will have to do. Happy hatch day, pufferfish.” Moon smiles softly, smoothing your hair back down after Sun’s affections.
“Darling angelfish,” eclipse simpers, tying the necklace around your neck, with some of his tentacles, while his arms pull you closer to into his heat, and closer to his mates as well. “You are extraordinary…exactly like these pearls~.”
You giggle and let them all hug you tightly. This was the best birthday EVER!
Child of the Night
You are limp as you dance with the three Counts. Your blood red dress sporting a few frills and bows that shimmer as you spin. You would have loved it…under different circumstances.
You are given back to Moon as the song ends. He bows and kisses the back of your hand as the music stills. When he straightens he pulls you close, cradling your cheeks, “you were absolutely marvelous, little moth.”
Sun applauds you and joins Moon in petting you, his hands finding your shoulders. He frowns slightly at the lack of reaction, but quickly brushes it off. “Moonie is right! You are a natural, Sunflower! Why, when you are ready to go to parties with us, you’ll be the bell of the ball!”
You say nothing. You do nothing. It was best to stay silent. To be still. Only move when moved. Only speak when given permission. You are a doll to be played with.
“Perhaps…” Eclipse gestures to the large table filled to the nines with presents and food. Why they still put out food for you was a mystery, you no longer needed it. Perhaps they thought it would bring you out of your shell again by partaking in something familiar . Something human…
How foolish.
But you make no complaint as you are ushered over and seated in a large and extravagant chair. You don’t say a word as they light the candles to your cake and sing to you. Taking your cue at the end of the song, you blow at your candles to which they cheer.
You don’t react when Moon cuts a slice of the cake and starts feeding you. Red velvet with chocolate frosting. Kind of fitting. Red and dark…
The rest of the night is the same as every year for the past century. Presents are opened, not by your hands, and the three Counts attempt to get you excited about all the new toys and items they bought you.
The same every year…and it always ends with them kissing your forehead and telling you how next year’s party was going to be better than this year’s.
And like every year, you simply nod. The perfect doll.
Digital Embrace.
Eclipse sticks another sticker onto the glass. This one a picture of a chibi kitten wearing a birthday hat. He steps back and admires his work while using his wires to bring the presents over. He sets them aside to join the others, putting them in front of the ones gathering dust.
“Happy birthday, my darling little byte.” He coos, crossing his arms in pride, “I am so proud that you have made another year! You are getting so big! I’ll have to make a few changes…but no matter.”
He steps forward and sets a hand on the glass. A purplish glow shines on his metal as he draws closer to you.
“I can’t wait to celebrate you again today. But as you know, no party can start without cake. And I am waiting for your cake to be done soon—,”
A chime echoes around the chamber.
He sighs, “speak of the devil. I’ll have to leave you for now, my sweet, but I will be back.” He turns and heads to the door, “and then we can start your party.”
He looks over his shoulder, smiling. “I love you~.”
You make no response. You never have. Only floating in that tube of yours, suspended in the slimy liquid keeping your body clean from any germ or virus. Wires protrude from your limbs, the most coming from your back. A special mask provides you your oxygen, while those wires connected to you provide your body with a special concoction Eclipse made to keep you healthy as he worked on a more permanent solution for you…mortality.
Eclipse’s smile widens, “For now though, happy birthday, baby.”
