Vampire Frank Headcanons

pairing: vampire!frank x reader

a/n: okay so. i feel like frank is more of that kind of 2000’s angsty emo vampire. kinda like edward? whereas, gerard is more of a bram stoker dracula, type of vampire? does this make sense?? lmk pls.

He acts like he hates being a vampire, but there is a part of him that enjoys the hunger. It makes him restless. He paces at night with his jaw tight and his tongue brushing over sharp canines he swears he does not like.

He gets twitchy when he smells your blood. Not in a dangerous way. It is more like he loses his composure. His fingers flex. His eyes go wide. He quietly insists that he is fine even though his breathing is not steady.

When he kisses you he gets too intense too quickly. His teeth scrape your lower lip. A low sound comes from his throat. He looks like he is fighting the instinct to push you down and taste more than your mouth.

He feeds reluctantly, but only from you. He hates how good it feels. Afterward he is a little shaky with his forehead against your collarbone. His breath comes uneven like he is trying not to ask for more.

He gets possessive when he is hungry. It shows in small ways. He stands closer. He keeps a hand on your hip. He says ‘stay with me tonight’, and it comes out rougher than he meant.

Some mornings he wakes up starving with messy hair and blown pupils. He pulls you into his lap before he is fully awake. His fangs graze your skin while he breathes you in and decides if he wants to bite or kiss you first.

He is ashamed of how turned on he gets when you let him bite you. He tries to hide it. His hips shift. His breath stutters. Later he curses under his breath because he is embarrassed and needy.

After feeding and sex he gets soft in a way he would never admit. He melts against you with his head on your chest. His fingers trace your skin while he mumbles things he refuses to say when he is fully awake. He tells you he is afraid of hurting you. He tells you he does not know what he would be without you. He tells you that you make the hunger feel less like a curse.

When he is anxious or brooding he curls up in dark places. He never asks you to join him. The moment you sit beside him he hooks a hand around your wrist or your ankle and holds you there like you keep him steady.

If you get a small cut he freezes. He looks tortured for a second. He forces himself to look away. Later that night he is very clingy. He kisses the healed skin and apologizes for wanting you so much that it scares him.
