When Wilson tries to hand him bagged blood, House just tips it down the sink. “I don’t do cafeteria food. Why would I, when I’ve got steak on tap?” ahem wilson is the steak

Their arguments sometimes spiral into House biting him mid-sentence, Wilson sighs and mutters, “you could just talk to me like a normal person.”

House leaves blood-stained notes on Wilsons desk instead of Post-Its: “You’re out of Type O. Fix it.”

when Wilsons ill or exhausted, House doesnt touch him. He waits. He gets mean instead—sarcasm sharper, temper worse—because hunger mixed with care is unbearable.

Sometimes House drags his fangs over Wilsons skin and doesnt bite, just to watch him squirm. “Relax, Jimmy, I’m not going to drain you… tonight.”

Wilson worries what will happen when he gets old. House jokes: “Don’t flatter yourself, I’ll find a younger donor.” But his fangs ache at the thought of Wilson going grey.

When House feeds, he sometimes murmurs things Wilson swears he isnt supposed to hear: fragments of need, half-confessions, words House would otherwise mock in daylight.

House claims he doesn’t “do” gratitude, but he always checks Wilson’s pulse afterwards. If Wilson’s faint, House lets him nap in his chair, grumbling at patients that the oncologist is “on ice.”

House claims immortality is a curse but uses it mainly to brag: “I’ve outlived seven deans of medicine, two pandemics, and all of your marriages.”

part of why Word of God isn't canon to me is that I literally decided the other day that the protagonist of Vampire House should be a trans girl because there isn't a reason for her not to be

you guys know this character, you've seen her in sketches I've done for the concept for ages

I "wasn't writing her" as a trans girl because she wasn't initially conceived as one, but I am now because I haven't made a playable version of the game yet so I can put it in there once I get around to it

but I decided this last week and she's existed conceptually for actual years

also!! importantly! she wasn't an elf until last year!!

If we're fucking around with fantasy elements in House M.D. and House gets turned into a vampire, everyone would assume he'd be insufferable and living large about it but in reality he'd put Edward Cullen to shame with the descent into "I'm a monster" angst he'd fall into. But he'd be hiding it all under increasingly edgy vegan/cannibal jokes a mile long so only Wilson would notice.
