@honeymint17 inspired my to draw the boys as vampires, and uh, well there's some spice lol

Anyways, Light became a vampire at some point (maybe the death note did it to turn him into some pseudo shinigami idk) and uhhh L's immediately like "yeah I think he's a vampire" but they still fall in love and Light's like "Hmm immortality would be boring if you died so I'm turning you too <3."

Light started dropping like super obvious hints, like drinking blood infront of the taskforce in a red kool-aid package, wearing crosses and Gothic clothing, and practically flashing his fangs when he smiles.

L just straight up asks him one day, and Light's like yeah I am. Everyone would've started noticing him not aging after a while, so he just tells everyone. It's also a good cover as to why he's so secretive, and being a vampire ≠ being Kira cause he just drinks blood, which he gets "ethically."

Soichiro isn't happy obviously, but at least he's not Kira? (Lol) and Matsuda just asks super uncomfortable questions which makes Light hiss at him once to scare him away, which L finds hilarious. Everyone else is just like "Oh, huh. That's weird."

After a bit Light asks L if he wants to be turned, and the only hang up L has is if he can still eat sweets, which he can. Light's like "bro, don't you still think I'm Kira?" "Yeah, but I don't really care anymore. I found you, and I know I'm right, so it's cool."

L gets turned, the Kira case just kind of teeters off, and Light and L just go run off and be happy.

But yeah, menace vampire bfs <3
