What You've Done to Me - Plot

Arc 1: A Vampire in our Midst (ch 1-23)
Leo is captured by the Earth's Protection Force and finds out Draxum works for them. His plan to get Leo out alive goes south when Commander John Bishop gets involved, who conducts an inhumane experiment on him, causing his death.
Leo's mystic form (his soul) is sent to Limbo, where his Gram-Gram Karai greets him. He is approached by a Shadow Realm Leader (Faelan) with the offer to become a Shinigami (Bringer of Death), which would give him access to return to Earth as a vampire.
Leo agrees and returns with his family, who think the EPF released him because of his human DNA, with only Leo and Draxum knowing the truth. Leo relies on life elixirs he buys from a gremlin named Ester for sustenance, which makes him look like his normal self and negates his need for blood.
Hueso discovers Leo is a vampire by accident and provides him with support. Eventually, Leo comes to realize he can't keep hiding this from his family, so he tells them the truth about everything and they become a source of support for him as well.
As this is all going on, Leo is training to be a Bringer of Death under Faelan and meets a Shinigami named Skoto, who is a follower of a wicked vampire named Errtara (Dracula). Errtara causes problems for Leo because he wants to steal him out from under Faelan, but Leo won't cooperate. Faelan sends Leo to the Healer (Wendy) in Witch Town for extra support because witches and wizards have a pact of peace with vampires.
Errtara's activities draw the attention of a Monster Hunter (Yolinda), who moves to the Hidden City. She doesn't know Leo is a vampire and, because they have a common enemy, she ends up teaming up with his family of heroes to work together to stop Errtara's killing spree. During this time, Leo develops romantic feelings for her.
Arc 2: Keep Your Friends Close and Your Enemies Closer (ch 24-51)
Ester is chased away by the Monster Hunter, so Leo transforms into his true vampire form when he runs out of life elixirs (fangs, etc.) He has to navigate between getting his need for blood met, doing his Bringer of Death job, and living in a world that hates and fears vampires. His family is a huge help during this time.
Eventually, Draxum is able to create a mutagen life elixir that only works during the day. Leo asks Yolinda out and they start dating, with her still not knowing he is a vampire, and him promising himself he'll tell her as soon as he feels she's ready to handle the truth. But being raised from a long line of Monster Hunters means she's stuck in her ways and long-held beliefs that all vampires are blood-thirsty monsters.
On two occasions at night, when Leo is concealed by his mystic Shinigami cloak, Yolinda mistakes him for Errtara and goes after him. The first time he barely escapes with Karai's help, and the second time (after being set-up by Skoto) he gets away on his own.
Arc 3: So Long, Farewell, Until We Meet Again (ch 52-69)
After going to Draxum's and finding him fighting Bishop, Leo sees red and attacks Bishop, biting his neck. When his family shows up, he flees, fearing he is a danger to them because he lost control of himself. Donnie wants Bishop dead for what he did to Leo but settles for blinding him to take him out of commission. They're unsuccessful in trying to get Leo to come home.
Errtara takes advantage of Leo's vulnerable position by sending the Monster Hunter after him. Yolinda goes after Leo, thinking he is the murderous Errtara, and gets him in the gut with a silver-infused stake. The sliver leeching into his body is slowly killing him, so since he has nothing left to lose, he reveals himself to her.
Yolinda has an existential crisis and has to battle between her core beliefs that all vampires are evil and her feelings for Leo. In the end, she helps him and contacts his family. But his injuries are so severe he must return to the Shadow Realm on the next full moon in order to recover.
On the night of the full moon, Errtara strikes again. Draxum pushes Leo through the mystical gateway to the Shadow Realm to protect him, and in the process, he takes the hit meant for Leo. Faelan joins in on the fight and Errtara is slain when Yolinda fires a stake at his heart with her crossbow.
Faelan returns to the Shadow Realm where he assures Leo that Draxum received medical help in time and will be okay. Then he sees to it Errtara's mystic form is banished to a realm of no escape, so he can never harm anyone again. The story ends with Leo returning from the Shadow Realm a month later and having a happy reunion with his family, Draxum, and Yolinda.
