More of the femme werewolf x butch vampire AU. This AU has me in a vice grip rn. Pls ignore my poorly drawn animals, I'm still practicing on drawing animals.

This incorporates some of my headcanons concerning werewolves- after transforming back from their bipedal wolf form, they retain some of their hair, especially in areas like their elbows, chest/abdomen and legs. Luz loves it because Amity has ridiculously soft fur.

Feathers and Blood AU edit, the first in a good long while, story snippet under the cut

The Emperor’s Castle prison, one day before the Day of Unity.

“Well, guess who’s going to lead the Isles to freedom, while you’re stuck in a cell?” Hunter taunted, crossing his arms as he leered over the vampire. He couldn’t believe how pathetic she was now. “Emperor Belos assigned me to oversee the ceremony, and all wilds like you will be dealt with by tomorrow evening.”

“He could do it without you,” Luz uttered, taking a labored breath. “He—” she gasped again, inching her head up just a bit, “he just wants to make you feel special.”

“But—” Hunter stammered, “the Day of Unity depends on me! On my honor, the Titan’s will is that—”

“The Titan’s will is a bunch of phoney-baloney,” Luz bit back. She glared at Hunter when she said it. Hunter felt his irritation rising, his ears getting hot. Luz took another heavy breath and spoke.

“You’re lending your power to someone who doesn’t even need it.” She looked at him, her eyes piercing in a way that made Hunter inexplicably feel on edge. Luz gasped several times, like somehow breathing wasn’t giving her enough air.

She caught her breath, and looked Hunter right in the eyes.

“How honorable is that?” She asked.

“You're the biggest hypocrite I've ever met. For all your big talk about saving humanity, you're not even human yourself after what you've done!"

“Says the half-breed eating rats, hmm? If you wanted to argue, you should have stayed in that cell where you belong. You'll be lucky if I put you out of your misery now."
