We need more Vampire Reaper, that was awesome tbh. Maybe something where the reader did something rash to protect Gabriel and they lost a lot of blood or something and the only way he can save the reader is by turning them into a vampire. Fluff if you like. I don't think fluff can work with this but if not, angst is always a good topic ;)
There is always time for a little fluff. Honestly, this got a bit carried away and if you want more, you will have to request it once more xD
You never would have thought in a hundred years that vampires existed , let alone that you would fall in love with one
Vampires were creatures of myth, a scary story told to children before bed
And yet, there Gabriel had been during one of the most terrifying moments of her life, chased from the safety of her home and trapped in an alley awaiting to be slaughtered…and he had rescued her
It had seemed to surprise him to, when he had decided to stand between her and those wishing her harm, and yet he had ripped them apart and brought her home safely
And just like that…both of your lives had become intertwined
Gabriel had been shocked at your request to for him to visit, and just as shocked to agree
You never told a peep about Gabriel, even when the town was distraught with fear after finding the body of the murderers in the alley
After over a hundred years living in solitude, with not a soul to speak with…. Gabriel now had you
The two of you had fallen in love easily
Gabriel was charming, and there was something about him that was comfortable to be around. He found your curiosity cute, and the lack of fear intriguing
You were fearless, enough so as to sit next to him and beg him to show you his fangs, and stupidly bold as to brush a finger across one in awe when he did
He liked your humor, and the little jokes or stupid puns you’d make relating to his very existence
Your first kiss was under the moon on the tower in the middle of town. He’d taken you for a stroll while trying to figure out how it would work, or if it would work. He honestly expected you to run screaming
But when his lips touched yours, your face only turned pink and immediately you found your arms around his neck
You were relieved to find that Gabriel did not kill for sport. In fact, most people he drank from did not die, nor did they ever remember. Taking lives wasn’t a thrill for him
The two of you were so happy together…until one night, another vampire entered his territory
Most vampires lived solitary all their lives, as too many caused issues with the humans. In some large city there were small covens, but like all vampires, they were territorial. And so was Gabriel
Except, with you here, he had a vulnerable spot. And what he didn’t expect was for them to go after him while he was with you
When they attacked, it was in close quarters and the battle itself was unexpected. He’d let his guard down
And in that moment, he’d failed because you were faster to react then Gabriel, throwing yourself between the unknown vampire and him
And paying the price when it shoved a wooden stake into your chest
Gabriel’s shock and horror turned into a seething, uncontrollable rage, one the opposing vampire had never before experienced
The creature tried to fight back, but in his rage, Gabriel tore it to pieces
Everything happened in a blur, but it didn’t matter. You were on the floor, the blood pouring from your wound and you knew that it would be too late to get help
Kneeling next to you, Gabriel’s rage disappeared as quickly as it came, only to be filled with desperation and terror. “You aren’t allowed to die,” He whispers. “I…You…Let me change you. If I change you, the wounds will heal. You’ll still be..”
“Dead,” You whispered gently, reaching up and touching his cheek gently. “I’ll be dead, Gabriel. I love you…but I am…I am content as I am. If now is my time to die, then I accept that.”
Gabriel took your hand from his cheek and kissed it, closing his eyes tightly. “I love you, y/n,” he whispered, shaking. “I’m….I’m sorry.”
The world was fading away, and there was no chance to ask. But Gabriel nicked his wrist with a fang and then held it to your mouth, letting the blood trickle down your throat.
Once he was sure you’d drunk even a little, Gabriel bit your throat…and began to drain you dry.
Doing this, Gabriel knew that you would surely hate him. There was no way you couldn’t...you had just made your wishes quite clear.
But Gabriel was selfish. After living alone in the dark for so long, you were the only light he’d ever been blessed with
The time with you...was too short. It had made him open up, reminded him what feeling human was life. He was not ready to be without you.
Gabriel took you away, away from your home and back to his home deep in the caverns of the nearby mountain....and waited.
