Vampire Teddy from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas 🎄
My first thing for ToonTober!
The vampire teddy was always my favorite character from the movie and was always so cute to me. So I gave him the honor of being the character I draw for Day 2!
Finally putting something on this freakin' blog. A couple'a plush OCs inspired these two! (The Vampire Teddy of which I own!)
(REBLOGS ENCOURAGED)
Vampire Teddy and Duck~
I had to include these two into my ornament set. Vampire Teddy was my childhood dream toy. Some little girls wanted Barbie, I wanted Vampire Teddy~ (yes I was that kid. I have a legit strong aversion to girly stuff.)
Anywho, these are merely roughs as they need to cure a bit before I can start smoothening them out via sanding and detailing. I've been encouraged to make as many as I can, finalize them and then paint them all at once.
Though all of the ornaments have a Styrofoam core since it's lightweight and easy to cut and get the initial shape before I follow with the foam clay. They are pretty light with the exception of the Sandworm being heavier due to the quantity of material and soon to be electronics inside.
Though if y'all have any suggestions for any additional ornaments, I'll be happy to hear. Though strictly Nightmare Before Christmas or Beetlejuice since those 2 are my oldest franchises.
Here is a messy Sally and Vampire Teddy sketch I done a few months back! There’s so many drawings and sketches I haven’t colored in yet!
It took me a while to post these...Mainly because I was very lazy. lol. Calgary Comic Expo was April 21-24 this year. On the Friday I dressed in my updated version of Sandy Claws. Sadly it snowed and cancelled the parade. I was a little cranky because my shoes were not meant for the slush. I want to update it even more for next years con. Better fingers, more toys to carry, and bribe someone to be my bag person. I was there alone this year, so it was kinda hard to do anything. Luckily I bumped into a friend that took my photo in the snow, and found a few great shots (only showing one), and a lovely cosplayer/prop maker that had a table had the perfect friends to have a photo with.
