i’m surprised you don’t know because i don’t exactly make a secret of it haha ;; but yeah um i am Not Fond of rin tohsaka to say the least. it is not often that i outright dislike characters in fiction but well she is one of the few exceptions...

i think the fact that shirou/rin is... healthier... contributes a lot to why i don't ship it tbh

I admit, aside from how I found their romantic chemistry kind of lacking (and I still kind of do???), I also wasn’t very into Rin/Shirou for a very long time because.... it just wasn’t really interesting to me compared to a lot of other ships? I’ve found myself shipping it only recently, and now I like it in spite of that because it’s just a very good relationship for both of them in general, and one with the last baggage and problems to work out. But yeah, it’s probably my least favorite of the heroine ships even now. I mean Sakura/Shirou is The OTP and I love, love Saber/Shirou and all the things that their relationship is and they are my pair of precious self-hating idealistic cinnamon rolls to good and too pure of this world, and I get very emotional about them. And with Rin/Shirou I’m like “oh they’re very cute and sweet and they’re very compatible and complementary and their banter and day to day interactions are very natural and fun when Rin’s not being unnecessarily overly nasty and mean and they’re just very good for each other it’s just plainly a good relationship that’s good for them both” but I don’t get nearly as feely about the, you know? And ngl my general feelings about Rin as a character kind of prevents me from getting fully into it... I still like it though and I’ll still reblog stuff and look at lots of fanart for it. And the UBW anime and the new fanart for it has really played a large part in getting me to ship it haha.

hey there! i was wondering if you knew how many versions of excellent choice there are, and which band member does each version's verses?

The Horrors have THREE versions of Excellent Choice. The first version is from the album Strange House and is sung by Faris Badwan and narrated by Tom Furse. The second version is on the Horrors EP and is a little more “instrumental” if you call it that, sung by Faris Badwan and narrated by Tom Furse. The third version, and my favourite is the one narrated by Tom Furse and Spider Webb  “LEECHES LEECHES”

i honestly get so hype about revolution whenever i watch this movie (or any x-men movie) its very empowering & i want to go smash the white supremacist capitalist heteropatriachy 

i have a lot of emotions about mutants as a marginalized group & i want to read more x men comics
