Hey Aunty, I've been playing around 50hrs on Widow now, and I am sometimes really good, but sometimes I don't seem to hit anything. How did you practice Widow? Did you make custom games? Any tips would be welcome!
Yeah, I did 30 minute skirmishes with 6 Ana bots on the red team and no headshots (for them). They can’t hurt you (because Ana doesn’t headshot) but you can get practice sniping them from different directions and different perches. They also duck and weave a bit so it’s good practice.
Once you’re better, use Lucios. They can and will kill you, but that will teach you to be faster and more accurate.
I also rather enjoy Widow skirmishes with real people; I collected a few fellow Widow mains on my travels (we bond over everyone’s shared hatred of us), and you have a FFA with other Widows (or just a custom with teams).
Inconsistency is still an issue I have. It’s an issue with a lot of non-pros. Sometimes I’m fucking AMAZING and everyone on the red team cowers terrified around corners, and sometimes MERCY fucking kills me before I can kill her. Practice makes consistency easier, but it’s still one of those things.
