This is my first time reading Dracula so Im trying hard to form my own mental images of what the characters look like based on the descriptions in the book and trying not to just default to imagining them as they look in any of the various adaptations. However. The one exception to this is that when van Helsing appears, I will in fact be picturing him as the 1992 movie's sexy, grizzled, facial-scar-having Anthony Hopkins
