Before Dahlia was given the nickname “Rook” and met Emmrich Volkarin, she met her (late) husband Vance 10 years ago. She was known as “Dr. D” around Necropolis. Apprentices and mages imagined Dr. D to be someone scary or even assumed the D was short for Dr. Death. No one expected her to be a 5”1 cute Elf mage until they go see her.

Before Vance was in the cult, he used to be a great soldier in the Mourn Watch. Known for his strength, height and quickness in combat, he would be the first man recommended for the difficult missions. He was head over heels Dahlia. After 2 years together, they Married.
