The good news: I have enough left over for a sleeveless blouse. The bad news: I put the wrong edge of one piece on the fold and had to do it over.

Always double check your fold edges, kids.

self drafted belt bag. 🔸🔸🔸 I've been slowly transitioning towards more functional pieces for myself. I am not a person who'd own lots of clothes, i like organization, upcycling, targetted solutions. Hence i decided to stop sewing clothes and learn to make bags. I used an old belt for this project and some left over fabrics from past projects (you can see the colors i lean towards) 🔸🔸🔸 skills i learnt but have yet to master: 🔸how to construct 3D products 🔸to design pattern pieces that would fit together. This was hard!!! But YouTube and other makers help! 🔸bias binding the interiors. OMG i see why people love it but it is tedious. 🔸hand stitch the bias binding.
