LEGEND FORM

In his bloodline, there is a half that contains the ability to change into a rather large beast, this beast being known as a fallen’s legendary form. Because Vanitas is half fallen, he is capable of using this form, however, it is smaller than most fallen legend forms are. The Legend form for Van is actually nine feet tall donning the tall, curved horns that Vanitas’ true form has. Because his familiar is a dog, his form is a scruffy canine with small hints of demonic features.

[ Smell ]

In the mornings, Vanitas smells like caramel coffee, given his dad's bar only serves non-alcoholic coffee before five. Anytime after that, he smells like a very light orange-scented cologne to hide the alcohol smell.

Headcanon

[ Mysterious “Blackout Visions” ]

Vanitas has what’s known as “Blackout visions”. These are defined by him seeming like he’s completely zoned out and wandering without a set destination. He will not remember any of the events of the vision nor does he ever remember things that he does during these. This is the reason that he sometimes loses his phone in the oddest of places.

It is almost like sleep walking in some respects, given that he seems wide awake when he is having these visions even if he is spaced out during this time. Near the end of his vision, he will usually find somewhere to sit and sings a rather morbid song silently to himself. This is usually the time he is the most spaced out, but easiest to drag out of the vision. 

He is usually slightly disoriented after these visions and has some trouble keeping on his feet, causing him to simply sit for a few minutes and let his mind clear.

Kids (Parent!Verse)

While Vanitas is normally rather relaxed and easy going, there are things that he won't deal with when it comes to kids--especially coming from his own. Mostly, this means tantrums or bratty behavior. It is simply not something he wants to see his kids growing up with as he sees it as a negative trait. This is usually fixed with him paying the child having a tantrum no mind until they've calmed down and had their time fussing. He will then ask if they're done and be sure they get what needs done finished.

[ Temperature of Halloween Town/extras ]

                Guillotine Square has a shit ton of fog, making it humid.                 It’s warm during most of the months and gets incredibly                 cold in the winter because of the moisture in the air. This                 makes it hard for Demoni to go anywhere unless he’s                 bundled up or in one of his two dog forms being that there                  is a natural coat on the forms. More often than not, he                 will simply use these forms instead of bundling up to                  'save time' in going somewhere.

Headcanon:

[ Base of the needle/doctor/hospital fear ]

                After Vanitas had been in his accident, he was immediately                 rushed to a hospital. However, the doctor that dealt with him                  did not treat him in a way that was proper and ended up                 butchering a relatively simple procedure. This doctor lost                 his license and ended up being booted from the hospital.                 However, this had a lasting effect on the mechanic and he                 will no longer go to a doctor's office or someone that he                  does not trust unless he is forced to. Even then, there will be                 a struggle in getting him into the doctor's office.

                His tattoo and piercings came before all this happened.

[ Behavior and Manners ]

             Given how Vanitas was raised, he has a rather intriguing              set of manners and behaviors. These range from short,              formal bows (mainly used in introductions) to one that means              wholehearted trust and respect. The second being one that he              would only use toward someone he is in a relationship with and              feels this way towards. His mannerisms tend to seem sloppy,              but he tries his best not to use his princely title to his advantage.              He has run from it, he doesn't wish to embrace it. However, that              doesn't mean that he will ever stop using his manners unless              he feels threatened. If he ever feels threatened or feels              someone is threatening his family, he will go on the defensive              and be sure that the threat is either warned or neutralized. 

             His family is the most important part of life for him, if someone              were to threaten that, he would be sure to get in the way at              the cost of his own life. His mother taught him the importance              of family and to always value and protect them. It's part of what              makes him question if his father was really trying to kill her              or was coming after him the night his mother was supposedly              killed. 

             He has a hard time with trying to stay in one place, making               it hard for him when he's injured and having to stay in bed or              remain in one spot for elongated periods of time. It also              causes personal side effects (I will not name them since he's              rarely injured bad enough for him to be bed ridden) that can              lead to him being restless or even fidgety. 

             "Signora" is usually used as a substitute for "Mrs" or "Miss".              It's mostly how he shows respect for an individual, showing              them the most respect he can when speaking to strangers              and friends alike. In the same way, "Signore" is used the same              way for males. 

             He has a few animalistic tendencies and behaviors, those              of which can be sown in sounds or simple animal like              movements. A growl showing anger or a protective mood just              as a purr can mean happiness or simple relaxation around              someone. A rumble is contentment or love, though unless              he truly feels this way about someone, he will neither purr nor              make a rumble noise. There is another noise he makes when              aroused, which is very highly similar to the sound of a purr. This              noise is made with his teeth pressed together and exposed,              unlike that of a regular purr.

Noiz King of Piercings: He doesn't sneeze often, but when he does, it makes you piss yourself
