not at all what I usually post or draw, but I had a fun idea for a shadownilla fan kid and I thought ‘ok well I have to now’ anyways uh

This is Vanillin Cookie! Vanillin is the compound responsible for the taste of vanilla and is often synthesized from compounds such as guaiacol (a derivative of petroleum) or lignin (a byproduct of the paper industry) and is commercially used as a vanilla flavoring (or, in other words, a fake vanilla).

Vanillin Cookie is a rather reserved cookie, with very low empathy and a tendency to lie her way around problems, but is doing her best to be kind in spite of that. Equally proficient with both white magic and dark moon magic. Doesn’t have many friends, besides the Raisin Crows. Definitely autistic.

I tried my best to find a good harmony between both parents’ designs and also make this cookie stand on her own, so she isn’t really a 1 to 1 fusion of both’s designs- actually, personality wise she started leaning more towards White Lily Cookie so I leaned into it with design elements (cape, braid), and sprinkled in some minor elements from First Milk Cookie (namely the eyebrows, sort of asymmetry/bangs, pupil shape) since I remember something about children looking more like a particular grandparent at some point but I forget the specifics.
