Butyeah omg I feel you on the hair.  I don’t think I’ve ever drawn it quite the same way twice... I find amassing lots of references helps, from various angles lol.  I have this problem with Ven’s hair tbh.  I cannot draw him from the right ghaklfsghsafd.  Sneaky trick- you can always waive Vanitas’s hair by drawing him with the mask ;)    Just let his body language do the sneering for him, hahahaha.  Though tbh the helmet is not much easier ugh.   The profile, sure.  The silver parts... ugh.   But thank you so, so, so much!!  LIkewise, keep doin’ you! You have some rad work yourself. Holy hell i mean you color like all the responses.  I would burn out so fast.  Keep up the awesome work!!!

//I LOVE ALL THE LOVE  but if you wanna tell venMOD how awesome ven is go send it to ven's inbox, too, please!  I feel like i'm getting all the love but credit where credit's due, yeah?  I do pass on complimentary things to venMOD whenever I get asks about both of us, but even if VenMOD’s okay with it, it doesn’t quite sit right with me?  I LOVE YOU GUYS.  But please remember to also send your love to ven into ven’s box, too!   I really, really can’t take credit or speak for anyone but myself so I feel kinda slimy just answering for both of us.  if you wanna copypaste if the message is for both of us, that’s fine!  But I feel like I’m getting more than my share here, okay? <3

//OOC:  There has actually been a lot of behind the scenes character development, plotting, and headcanons (this actually ties in with the two existing short comics and planned third comic on my main blog.  Mun has also ended up in an unexpected predicament in which Vanitas is slowly developing feelings that are not hatred toward Ventus.  Now that the other half of his heart has reached out, the foundation is shaking and a relationship is developing on the side.  Ventus is quite possibly the one piece of the world he no longer hates. 

In the present, his animosity toward Ventus has become something more like a rivalry.  Dare I say a friendly rivalry. 

Now I’m going to talk about shipping. Please bear with me, this is IMPORTANT:

A lot has happened. A lot has happened. There may be VanVen things specifically involving this setting and divergent continuity (well, it WILL be divergent eventually). Vanitas will continue to be secretive and private about them, because “it’s nobody’s fucking business” what he does in private and asks about anything adult will still be met with sass.  But in light of this and how impossible it has been to avoid including relationship/character development, I am creating a tag which you can blacklist if you want to avoid anything VanVen on this ask blog:

(math joke. A vector is a line with direction, much like the thread of this relationship which is always moving forward and onward to uncharted territory. Also, it’s alliterative!).
