I went to my first ever pride yesterday which was amazing! I bought this shirt and wore it to work and surprisingly recieved no questions or weird looks.

Friday was just the start, catch me today at these events! Read below for a refresher! And I will not be cursing at any of these shows, so bring your kids! This one is for the community! 1- The Bellevue Porchella is one of my favorite block parties. It’s always so fulfilling to perform for families, people of all ages, little kids that like to dance, really it’s just all amazing. And it’s organized by people in this community! So If you want to see me tear that down for around 40 minutes straight, be there by 2p. 2 - @vapride PrideFest - If you’ve never been to Pridefest you’re missing out! More than anything it’s just an experience that’s about love and acceptance. It’s a honor to headline the Youth Pride Stage and I plan to make the most of the 45 minutes I’ll be performing. They’re even going to have a sign language interpreter for my lyrics! You could spend all day on Brown’s Island, but you’ll find me on the Youth Pride stage at 5p. 3 - @rvaeastendfest - As a teacher, having the opportunity to use #HipHop to raise money for Richmond’s Public Schools and to help their music and art departments is everything and absolutely necessary. I’d say 6p would be a good time to be at Henry Marsh Elementary tell my stories in rhyme for around 20 minutes, though the whole festival is just as great as the cause! 4-And of course, you can still catch me live on air on my radio show HipHop For The Rest Of Us later that night from 1a-3a on @wrir973 FM or WRIR.org to stream. I’ll playing records from artists right here in #RVA and from all over the world.
