I am obsessed with the form of my actions. I love to search for a clean, simple but rather beautiful form. I always compare the form of the actions in martial arts to the shape of a sword. You can cut down anyone with a properly sharpened iron bar, that’s true. But a sword is something more, it’s a weapon, but is also an artwork. Martial Arts are, to me, both efficacy and beauty, I would even say efficacy through beauty, even if is not always possible.
