Desperate times means you desperately need to sleep
Two more versions under the cut and some rambling ⬇️
Fair warning each version has progressively less cloths than the last, it’s mild but you have been warned‼️
Basically I was too proud of the anatomy for it to go to waist so I did three versions because I can.
I’m also experimenting with some body head-canons, and we’re gonna ignore that Jonah’s and David’s beards are a little too thick but we’re gonna pretend it’s for the cold winter trust
The idea behind this was that they just got back from like a resupply trip (because let’s be honest if the entity wants to make things feel real it’s not just gonna hand them everything they need to survive like food, shelter and water) and they were too tired to bother with anything so they just flop on there shared mattress (yay! They upgraded from a cot bed to a mattress!)
This is my apology post, it's okay guys Jonah is fine (maybe)
I'm also Ganna take this post as an opportunity to rant on some headcanons since we know the dbd lore is a bit patchy, so I'd like to throw my hat in on a couple things :)
Ranting under the cut ⬇️
So my first headcanon is about the whole memory loss thing.
Basically survivors only remember the trials where all 4 escape.
If someone dies they will go through the rest of the day without seeing the one who unfortunately died, they will remember until the end of the day when they go to sleep and will revisit that trial as a nightmare. When they wake up that is all they will remember the trial as, a nightmare. And like most dreams and nightmares you forget them the longer you're awake. As for the absence of the dead survivor, the day they died in the trail is forgotten as well so it's like they never left.
Why the others don't see the dead survivor for the rest of the day is I like to think after being killed or sacrificed The Entity pulls them into a realm between life and death through the fog. Similar to the bloodwebb being an in-between of consciousness and sleep. This is so The Entity can revive and heal them. And when they're revived they are stuck in a deep sleep also revisiting the trial-nightmare. By the time they wake up the fog would have put them where they commonly fall asleep.
My second headcanon is the campfire they sit around.
I like to think the survivors live on a decently sized campground they made themselves. (considering there's 47 of them in total and counting assuming the devs will continue to add survivors and killers) so there are probably a couple campfires littered throughout the grounds and for funnzies a fire slightly larger than the rest with a bigger sitting area creating a community space for everyone.
As for the actual camp space I enjoy the idea of the survivors living in those bigger tents like the ones you see in Red Dead Redemption 2, I have no idea what they are called but I hope you see the vision! This way some of the tents can be decorated with personal items and belongings and have room for stuff like their cosmetics. Some base items you can find are probably a trunk, a cot bed, and maaayybe a small light source like a candle or if your lucky a battery powered lantern. (using the same batteries as flashlights) other stuff you can find are from past survivors or by wandering in the fog.
And we know there are old structures in the realm like viggo's laboratory, so I like to think if their camp is pitched near abandoned cabins or buildings they turn it into a makeshift hospital, Orela and Rebecca having experience in the medical world I feel like they can be a dynamic duo. Sure there not surgeons but it's better than nothing!
This is the end of my ranting! Thanks for reading! And let me know if you wanna hear more I got plenty more headcanons.
I'm thinking about making a post about my headcanons for Jonah and King as well.
