Hey just a reminder since Moonyinpisces seems to be back to posting as if nothing happened and Zoey (Zaay-zaay/vavoom-sorted) is coming out strong with supporting her, both of these individuals were involved in an organized fandom bullying ring on Moony’s discord server where they organized targeted attacks against other creators, primarily those who created works with trans depictions, ace depictions, and depictions of kinks they didn’t approve of. They’ve also attacked creators for being ace themselves.

I for one do not recommend supporting them. Our fandom is by far the most positive fandom I’ve ever been in, and there is no place for mean girls style bullying here.

I’ve included a handful of receipts I had handy, but there are far more if you search for them on various social media sites. I would dig them up myself, but I’ve already spent way too many spoons on this nonsense.

It may not be great, and I actually took footage of my process and started to make a little video, only to realize that I certainly don't have that kind of dedication...I mean wow

But yea, there it is. It is currently sitting in a little room right now with a layer of clear nail polish on it to seal it (=w=;) I'll give an update once it's all sealed and dried.

People need to understand that even if they personally don't find the whole thing that outrageous, the way those people handled/handle the situation after being called out only made the whole thing worse.

Zoey/zaay-zaay/vavoom-sorted is litteraly profiting off of the fandom. She has LIED about no longer being associated with the group to get people back into her patreon/prevent them from leavings, yet here we are, her proudly presenting an other collab with moony. She literally went off on people in the comments of callout posts with clear evidence for saying that they are going to block the people involved. She said she had no clue what was going on yet there are screenshots where she was involved.

Moonyinpisces did anything but take accountability. Even doubling down before going dark. And now that they are back they make a sarcastic authors note and make fun of only being found on AO3.

Plumebeat/plumbum litteraly came back with a moony collab and is being send asks calling them (idk their pronouns and can't be bothered to check) "THE UNDEFEATED" which they answer with a quirky meme. As if calling out their own documented behavior was just a ploy to dethrown the fandom royalty that is now coming out of hiding.

No matter how you feel about what these people did (and tbh it's weird when you don't see the issue, we are talking full on bullying with intent here) , they time and time again prove that they think they are owed the fandom. They don't give two fucks about this community and think you owe them. All while they are entitled to you as their laughing stock. They do think anyone except them is a loser and that's how they behave. No remorse, no retrospection, lies and entitlement.

They are not the victim, they are the assholes playing you for a sucker bc they think their skills/fanworks entitles them to do as they please without consequences.

To answer last anon:

It wasn't just having a tag preference on Ao3. It was claiming people were actually dumb and/or transphobic/homophobic (whatever the point needed to be) for headcanoning A&C having a pussy/being nb/genderfluid (and even being totally gendergent. some of them really hated the Ineffable Wives), because it went "against what the source material said", and also an insult to two supernatural beings who made the conscious choice of presenting as male, which if anything made them trans men, not women or nb or anything.

It was also about some of them being fatphobic (not shown on the screenshots available, but Moony would not stop going on about people wanting to "give Michael an eating disorder" for drawing Aziraphale kind of fat (and also a brilliant instance of Zoey saying it was not a crime to want to draw Aziraphale with a "normal weight". Yes she used those words)

It was about being heavily judgy of kinks that weren't theirs, about asexuality, about being sexual in general, and also very weird comments made about pregnancy and how people were weird fucks for enjoying pregnancy content (it /had/ to be a weird fetish, you understand...).

But it was mostly about the bullying. It was creating this little server with the intent of making fun of people in it. Making fun of their opinions, making fun of them personally. And at first that even took place in a secret room /in/ the server. Not even the courtesy of doing it in DMs. It was collectively and systematically aking fun of the same artists/writers, dismissing some of them because they clearly wrote with their hand in their pants (and that's BAD!).

It would be easy to carry on but hey! Lots of remaining grievances are mostly irritating personality traits which are only the cherry on top, but not really things worth discoursing about in public. People are allowed to be annoying!

I just wanted this out there because, you know, it's a bit weird seeing some of the stuff in those screenshots being pulled out of its context, because honestly, half of what's circulating on tumblr/bluesky is really not what people think it is about. Some of it really was just jokes in a certain context (senses of humour are what they are). It was just a bit weird seeing people missing the (imho) real stuff that was directly harmful to the fandom (ie: people expressedly attacking and belittling other fandom members)

For people who are still confused about how a place can be publicly accessible, but you can still lure people there:

Say you like to steal people’s shoes. You can go around the city and steal shoes sometimes, but it’s kind of hard to do and you’re worried you might get caught. “I know,” you say, “I’ll build a park specifically designed to make it easy for me to steal people’s shoes!”

You create this park, drop invitations all over the city to invite people to your amazing park with cool slides and a basketball court, and you also invite all of your shoe stealing friends to the shoe stealing hub where you can plan the best way to steal shoes.

Sometimes, one of you will see someone outside of the park with a really cool pair of shoes. You really want those shoes, so you personally give them an invitation to this park and encourage them to come. Once they do, it’s really easy to steal their shoes.

The park is the “private” Discord server, which was easily accessible with an invite link that was left in multiple locations where Moony’s fans would be drawn in.

The hub is their truly private chat where they planned their attacks.

And the shoe stealing? That was their targeted attacks against creators they didn’t like, either out of jealousy or bigotry.

Even if they can’t get away with creating a full server to host their bullying ring again, though I think there’s a chance they could, the behavior will continue wherever they can find their fans.

The whole putting things in the most extreme language and overstatement of harm just makes it hard to take this seriously. Seems like she interprets these characters to be trans men, feels strongly that other interpretations are wrong/not canon, and was a bit of a bitch about it to people who asked her. But an “organized cyberbullying ring”? And her discord was somehow both public enough that you consider any messages therein to be “public posting”, but private enough that she had to “lure” people in? And if I’m not yet convinced she’s evil, I’m supposed to seek out more arguments from emotion - that there are “testimonies” from creators who were cyberbullied within an inch of their life and have “stopped creating altogether”? Idk man. This sounds exhausting.

Amazed that people are still defending this group because they don’t have proof of just how bad the bullying got and how awful the effects were on their victims.

The fact that they did this even once (which there IS proof of in the screenshots of their private group chat where they plotted their attacks before carrying them out in the more publicly available channels) should be more than enough to prove they have vile intentions imo.

If you think that’s okay, then we have vastly different ideas as to what an acceptable way to treat other people is.

I’m confused, I don’t see bullying, I see disagreement with other view points held in this fandom. It’s with harsher language than what I would use but as I understand it was a private Discord. I wouldn’t have even bothered to comment but I was surprised to see she had said all fic has a right to exist after all I’ve heard about the situation from a year ago. She’s just saying she dislikes it personally?

Private discord does not mean private friend group. The invite link was shared widely. There were several hundred people there, some of them there because moony and co deliberately lured them for the express purpose of bullying them.
