Libra Nakshatra Deities: Vishakha, Svati, Chitra
Disclaimer: unlike the ☀️ solar signs, the 🌙 lunar signs, aka, the nakshatras, are not ruled by planets. They are ruled by deities. The planets you will find regarding the nakshatras are only associated to them. Planets do not rule the nakshatras. As some nakshatras overlap two signs, you will see this nakshatra and the same deity in both of these signs.
Vishakha – Indragni, the United Fire 🔥⚡ Indragni represents the combined forces of Indra and Agni, two powerful and passionate gods. Indra, king of the gods and ruler of Jyeshtha, is a heroic yet vulnerable figure—ambitious, strategic, and constantly striving to protect his sovereignty. Agni, ruler of Krittika, is the god of fire. With his seven tongues, he can consume everything in his path, yet above all, he is the divine messenger—the sacred bridge between mortals and the gods 🔥🌈 Both deities share immense appetite, desire, and intensity, which can sometimes lead to excess or mistakes. Yet this very fusion makes Vishakha a nakshatra of drive, determination, and transformative power.

Svati – Vayu, God of the Wind 🌪️🦌Vayu is the god of wind, air, and prana — the sacred breath of life itself. He is the force that cuts the newborn from the umbilical cord and gives independent life, consciousness, and movement 🌬️✨ Without oxygen, there is no life.
But air is not only physical: it also carries thoughts, emotions, vibrations, and inspiration. The wind can be gentle and sweet 🍃 or violent and destructive 🌩️, which is why Vayu also represents strength and power.
Vayu is said to be the leader of the celestial musicians 🎶🌌 He carries melodies through the skies, spreading sound, rhythm, and divine inspiration everywhere he moves. Ancient texts describe him riding a shining chariot pulled by red or purple horses — sometimes 39, 100, or even 1000 of them 🐎🔥 He is also often depicted riding an antelope 🦌, symbolizing speed, grace, and freedom.
Most famously, Vayu is the father of Hanuman 🐒💨, the mighty monkey god known for his immense strength, devotion, courage, and supernatural abilities. Svati carries this same energy: movement, freedom, intelligence, and adaptability.

Chitra – Tvashta, the Celestial Architect 🛠️✨Tvashta is the divine craftsman, the celestial architect who creates forms and shapes all living beings 🌌🪷 He is considered a universal father and belongs to the illustrious lineage of Bhrigu: connected to Shukra (Venus), the Ashvins of Ashvini, and Brihaspati, the priest of the devas who rules Pushya ⭐
Tvashta is a master artisan and magician of creation. He forges the divine weapons of the gods ⚔️🔥, creates entire realms, and guards the precious Soma, the nectar of immortality 🍶✨ Nothing escapes his vision: he is described as the all-seeing god, with eyes, faces, arms, and feet on every side 👁️🌍
Yet behind the creator lies fierce protective power. When his family is harmed, Tvashta responds through the force of sacred mantras and creates the terrifying Vrtrasura 🐉⚡, one of Indra’s greatest enemies. Chitra reflects this divine energy of craftsmanship, beauty, precision, and creative intelligence.

Translation:
I seek refuge in Hanuman, the son of Vayu, whose speed is like that of the mind, who controls his senses, and is the best among the intelligent. He is the chief of the monkey clan and the messenger of Shri Rama.
This shlok beautifully encapsulates the divine qualities of Hanuman Ji: speed, intelligence, control over senses, and unwavering devotion to Lord Rama.

A commission for @chainedbychoice / @deaddovestellnotales, of their oc Curume and his partner Vayu! I love writing with you, merry Christmas!

What a difference a few months of love and care can compassion can make in the life of an elephant. This is Vayu who was rescued earlier this year. His beautiful thick tusks are instantly recognizable. Here he’s out for a peaceful evening stroll, a simple pleasure he was deprived of most of his life.

Anyone know where to make custom Lego minifigures? Because I really want to make one.
I think it would be cool to have my oc as her own mini. At least one but I would gladly make her one for each season she would be a part of.
