Okay, fellow vampire pervs, here's fun little poll for Smutty Sunday. Obviously what a vampire thinks is going to vary (I'm going to bet Marius enjoys ankles and feet, while Louis is probably more of a wrist guy, though your mileage may vary). See 'Keep reading' for propaganda/me screaming about Them. Contains spoilers for The Queen of the Damned, Blood & Gold, and Prince Lestat.

Santino and Eric: Santino and Eric are mentioned together at the beginning of The Queen of the Damned, visiting Maharet in her Sonoma compound. Nothing much is known about them in the books. However, in Beckett's Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles Alphabettery, it was stated that Santino encountered the Ancient vampire Eric in the 16th century as he was traveling after abandoning his Children of Darkness coven in Rome. Santino was drawn to Eric because he's a much older, wiser, and stronger vampire, plus, he's also very pretty. After several unpleasant encounters with Ancients when he was a member of Children of Darkness, I just think it's neat that Santino finally got along and even became companions with one - that is until the events of QotD when Eric is reunited with his maker, Maharet. After Akasha was killed and Mekare became the holder of the Sacred Core, Santino and Eric resumed their companionship until Santino was killed in the events of Blood and Gold.

Mael and Jesse: Just look at them :)

Thorne and Marius: In Blood and Gold, Marius met Thorne whom he trusted enough to share his life story with (despite literally just meeting the guy). Meanwhile, Thorne was absolutely more than willing to kill the vampire that caused Marius the greatest pain, not caring who he'd upset or that he'd get punished for it. So, at the end of the novel, he killed Santino for Marius and as an act of defiance against Maharet, his maker. You don't get any more romantic than that, right?

Fareed and Seth: We meet Fareed and Seth in Prince Lestat. They are Maker/Fledgling with Seth turning a deep-in-coma Fareed into a vampire. What's interesting about them is that they teach each other: Seth taught Fareed everything about vampirism and Fareed taught Seth current medical practices and healing. They're vampire scientist husbands! What's not to love?

Avicus and Mael: Avicus is Mael's maker and long-time companion in Blood and Gold. Avicus was the one who turned Mael into a vampire in exchange for Mael's help from getting turned into the God of the Grove. They traveled together and then as a trio with Marius until Avicus leaves Mael for a female vampire named Zenobia. Anyway, to people who like the Angry and Chill ship trope, Mael/Avicus will definitely be your shit.
