Fei didn’t know what to do at this point, didn’t have any idea how to resolve the situation she’d gotten herself into. It was like she’d backed herself into a corner and the walls were caving in and she had no energy to push them back out again. Which was a long way of simply saying that it fucking sucked. Was dating always this hard for succubi and incubi? Was this something that all of her ancestors had suffered through at some point? Perhaps. Still fucking sucked.
The assassin didn’t bother to knock, simply snagged her own set of keys from her purse and let herself into Jungsoo’s apartment. She was sluggish, moving slow, and the dark circles under her eyes wouldn’t have been so prominent if she’d had the energy to put on makeup that afternoon before leaving the house. She’d slept until three pm, and even then it was difficult to drag herself out of bed and force herself to throw on clothes. Fei was an absolute mess, and if there was anyone who could make her feel better right now, she was sure that it would be the incubus whom she called her older brother. Hence why she was wandering into his apartment, shrugging her jacket off on the way in.
“Do you have any popcorn?” was the first thing that came out of her mouth as she stepped into the living room, eyes finally finding Jungsoo’s figure among the apartment’s decor. A greeting of some sort was probably warranted when you let yourself into someone’s apartment uninvited, but Fei didn’t quite have it in her. Not that she thought Jungsoo would care too much. Herself and Mira were constantly inhabiting his apartment anyway.
