Introducing the tour guides at VCUarts!

Featuring: Hannah Jaffe

Favorite saying “An intense Humanism lies at the heart of success.”

A California native, Hannah Jaffe moved across the country in order to attend Virginia Commonwealth University school of the arts. She is now entering her Junior year as an undergraduate student majoring in Communication arts along with a minor in anthropology. She has been a tour guide for VCUarts since freshmen year and she loves writing posts for the VCUarts viewbook page!

Hannah is interested in understanding the study of humans through a combination of art and anthropology. She enjoys working on projects that test limitations and expose vulnerability. Last spring, Hannah had her short film “Orange Art” accepted into the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.  By practicing the art of vulnerability, her short film represented a personal anecdote of testing limitations. Hannah is continuing her exploration of vulnerability in her current projects inside and outside the classroom.

Some of her hobbies include writing, reading books, working out with friends, watching movies, and painting. Hannah is also looking forward to studying abroad in Paros Island, Greece during spring semester!
