Thanksgiving high Dewther snippet please

Oh this. This is it. I got really high during Thanksgiving and was feeling really sappy. @ghoultrifle and I had been bouncing ideas back and forth about being held and loved, so I decided I wanted to project onto the ghouls (as usual)

Enjoy what I have so far:

As mean as it is, Dew loves when Aether is freezing in the middle of winter. It means falling asleep as a pile of mixed limbs, desperate to warm achy joints and muscles. It means extra cuddles during particularly cold mornings, when neither of them want to lift the covers just yet.

What he especially likes though, is how much tighter Aether holds him, how he presses his chest against Dew’s back, and tries to touch every square inch of his skin with his. It's moments like this when he feels the most loved.

I have an inanimate insanity theory but I'm too lazy to retype it fully so I just copied and pasted from my main blog. So here.

You know inanimate insanity? It's about Bow from ii. I think that Bow is from Salt and Pepper's universe. So I was just chilling and I remembered how in the first season, I remembered that Bow called Apple "Kumquat", which is the name of one of the Inanimate Insanity Infinity characters. Also, her personality seems to fit in seamlessly with the infinity characters. As well as that, Bow just showed up one day at a random point with no explanation whatsoever.

tw for venting, abuse. hi. do you have any advice on how to deal with pretty severe trust issues ? i loved my abuser so deeply and them hurting me completely destroyed my trust in everyone. i look for flaws in everyone and one mistake causes me to just fucking snap. years of trust down the drain because of bullshit things, and i don't yell at them or anything, i know logically this is a trauma thing but i hate that i find myself isolating myself because the list of people who i trust is getting smaller and smaller.

my friend reached out to my abuser to hear both sides of the story what was going on, not telling me first - i had no control over this. they claimed they weren't on anyone's side, just a bystander. and logically, i realize why they wouldn't want to get involved in this - i don't want them too. but if they're going to involve themself, why won't they be on my side? why would they call it a dilemna, it's my fucking life? i know this is just my brain seeking out every little thing to try and protect myself but it still hurts so bad, i feel like i can't trust anyone, i'm so alone

Hey Vee,

A lot of abuse survivors struggle to trust after the abuse. I can relate. Our brains want to protect us and some survivors experience severe intimacy issues. Your brain is looking for red flags, for anything that could potentially hurt you, so you can avoid it and stay safe.

It makes sense that you're hurt by your friend reaching out to your abuser and wanting to hear their side of things, especially without telling you first. It can feel like betrayal. I don't know how close you are to this friend, but it might be worth talking to them about it and explaining as calmly as possible that you are hurt that they wanted to hear your abuser's side of things and that it feels like they don't believe you.

I can feel invalidating for your abuse and trauma to be called a "dilemma." It is much more complicated than that and I understand how calling it a dilemma makes it sound like you and your abuser are equally to blame. Remember that no matter what, you know what happened. No matter what others think, there are people who believe you.

Honestly I think a therapist would be best equipped to help you learn how to trust people again. It is possible to talk through the root of the problem and try to implement changes so you can connect with others and form relationships.

Dr Aether+Aeon

This one is going to be an angsty one. Aether is a little mad at the new ghoul for taking his spot in the band. Not much is written, but I know its going to be alot of overstim, medical/doctor fet, mean Aether, and alot of Aether exploiting the power dynamic between a doctor and a (very innocent) patient. Aeon is none the wiser to Aether’s actions, so he just… takes it— discomfort and all.

I can’t wait to work on this some more and Im super excited for how this will play out.

Hi hello would you ever write a follow up where Mountain teaches Aeon/Phantom to take a knot for the first time? I am IN LOVE with that last fic!!

Hi anon :) Im glad you enjoyed that handy.

Honestly, Im really heavily considering it. Im sensing a trend in some of my writings, and there’s quite a bit of “first time with Mountain” type fics… but not one where he teaches them how to take his knot. I think him talking Aeon through it would be a very, very nice thought.

But yeah to answer your ask, I would, just no promises. (But hopefully soon cause grrrr its such a good prompt)
