Wow shit

A slight correction after I got a good look at the guy’s very official uniform (which included a gun holster) while he was going up and down the aisles as people left after the movie: He’s actually not police, but a security guard, albeit one from a company with initials very similar to the local police department. 

Still, though, there was definitely a bag check, albeit a very prefunctory one — dude just sort of peeked in the very top of my purse and didn’t notice the actual boxcutter I had in the bottom from work. o_O

I’m guessing the showing was considered a soft target since I saw it at the local zoo imax, which seats nearly 500 and had every one of those seats filled. It just caught me by surprise since I’ve been to multiple movies here before, and never seen any security, much less one doing bag checks.

B. I’m not personally really into it but I’m often not really into ships that are friends-to-lovers kind of things (with some notable exceptions, like Rey/Finn/Poe and Remus/Sirius). But I see why someone would like it. I just can’t see how it would provide enough drama to be a pairing that holds my attention.

🔥 characterisation?

I’m not sure which of my opinions are popular or unpopular in this topic, so I’ll just go ahead and share them…

So, while I do support people writing whatever they like, because fanfiction is just for fun, there comes a point where OCC tropes start to bother me.

Like, I get that not everyone has read the Brick, I do. I’m not going to leave hateful comments on fic or yell at people on their own blogs. But hey, this is my own blog and if I want to complain that there are basically no Enjolras/Grantaire fics out there I can.

Oh, there are a LOT of fics tagged that, but 90% of them are BBC Sherlock/Feuilly, But Disillusioned And Depressed.

So uh… people have the right to write characters as wildly OOC as they please, but beyond a certain point I just don’t see the point. It’s not the character I was looking for anymore.
