All harvested today. The herbs will go up in the dehydrator. Thinking about a salad or maybe a veggie wrap for the nasturtium, tomatoes, and peppers.

I'm making stuffed peppers for community night lol.
On of my natives is giving me a bloom!!? This is a sunflower of some kind 🤣
This guy's bloom is showing up on Seek as... well crap! I can't remember, but it still didn't have a specific species, just a family. Darn what WAS that? The app doesn't record your observations unless a specific species is confirmed. It's probably wrong in any case.
RIP hose. Good excuse to get a new one, though!

My sunflowers are slowly starting to peek out. I'm just so appreciative of all the color that's still in the garden.
Even my potted plants are still doing great.
Hella pepper harvest! I broke down and snagged the one tomato on the vine for some fried green tomato for breakfast tomorrow. The peppers are going in my next batch of kimchi.

I celebrated 9 months sober on July 1st. Go me!
Harvested some gypsy peppers because the plant is PRODUCTIVE.
In fact besides the okra kicking off, it's one of the only things producing like that. The Thai dragon peppers are doing good. I have one purple beauty growing currently, and a handful of green cherry tomatoes. That's it though.
Why are my feelings hurt? 🤣😭
A local plant vendor posted about their beautiful tomato haul and that made me feel insecure. All years prior to this I've been so sloppy - over watering everything, etc, and I end up with way more than toms than I can handle. This year I tilled, I put down mulch, I've allowed some volunteers to thrive and... nothing.
It's a lovely rainy day today. The temps are so nice - anything is nice after consecutive days of 103°f+ - but too wet to really work.
So Monty Don and coffee it is, then.
