i know it’s only november but i’m already pumped as hell for next year’s growing season!
my in-ground veggie garden, which was already my sunniest space, is going to get about 50% MORE sun in the summers because the neighbors had some nasty old paper mill trees removed. full sun all the way baybey B)
that does mean i’ll lose my nice bearable-to-hand-water-in afternoon shade, but i was planning on setting up a drip system anyway. i might even look into rain collection, though that’s a pretty low priority atm
i’m planning to try my hand at some new plants next year too; cape gooseberry and potatoes for the first time, and i might pick up another drying bean variety while i’m at it. i even have enough seeds stored to share with my community this spring!
it’s been a long time of honing my gardening skills, but i finally feel like i actually know what i’m doing 😅
