~Realistically this wouldn’t happen due to the damage done to the Rook, and that Felix is likely really old by 2025. But for purposes of this story this man magically hasn’t aged since 1991~

When Graves announced the shadow company would be going on a small trip to his childhood home. Most expected some place in Texas due to Graves accent and personality. They weren’t expecting to be taken to a KGB safehouse that had likely seen better days and had very clearly had parts of it be rebuilt. When Graves knocked on the door and got a response of “Wer ist es?” In a think German accent everyone was confused. Oz looked at Velikan who shrugged bcs he was just as lost as Oz was. And everyone was flabbergasted when Graves proudly said “It’s me! Phillip!” In that proud American accent to which received a grumble in German before the door opened. Revealing a tall German man with blonde hair and a blank look.

“Everyone this is Felix Neumann my uncle!” Graves says proudly

Everyone didn’t know how to react. This very clearly German man had blood relations to Graves whose speaking in other languages skills were literal ass?

“Not by blood you pain in my ass.” Felix says

“Regardless. This is shadow company. A private military company run by me.” Graves says clearly trying to show off

“Zhey let you run a military company all by yourself? The US government has really lowered there standards.” Felix replies

Lerch had to bite his tongue to avoid laughing at his commander getting roasted.

Graves spends the next few hours in a back and forth with Felix. Every so often they start arguing in purely German. Leaving the shadow company members completely speechless. Graves was speaking flawless German but could barely tell someone to shut up in Spanish without sounding like a dumbass.

Eventually one of the Shadow Company members starts playing a music playlist from there phone into a speaker another Shadow brought along.

When the playlist eventually hits “I’m on fire” by Springsteen (a song added by Oz) Graves whips around and loudly says “Soldier! Skip that song or stop the music.” The shadows were confused but did as ordered. Graves shortly then leaves. Felix laughs and Oz asks why.

“Ah vell. You see. Long ago when this place was turned from a KGB safehouse to a black ops base. There were two operatives who had too much to drink after winning against pantheon’s forces. One thing lead to another and well, zhat song I’m on fire, played as the 2 operators did the deed. And 9 months later Phillip was born.” Felix says

“How do you know this?” Oz asks

“I was zhere when it happened. Though I was drunk as hell on the couch. Crying as Sevati desperately tried to get me to drink vater. Meanwhile I didn’t realize where I was and was crying because I thought I was in some Stasi interrogation room being questioned about why I left.” Felix laughs

“Dear god.” Velikan says

“Meh. That was a calm day at the Rook back in 1991.” Felix says

“What do you mean that was a calm day?” Velikan and Oz ask in unison.

Felix only smiles.
