Name: Velocipes guerichi
Name Meaning: Quick Foot
First Described: 1932
Described By: Huene
Classification: Dinosauria, Theropoda, Neotheropoda
Velocipes is a theropod known from part of the fibula, collected from the Lissauer Breccia in Poland, living in the Norian age of the Late Triassic, approximately sometime between 228 and 208.5 million years ago. The only specimen of it was very poorly preserved, though it has been confirmed as an early derived theropod, which makes sense given its time of origin.
