Strange how she settled in so easily- and even if his reaction towards her presence was a surprise, she didn’t shy away from it. Instead, she stayed in position, leaning against him with her eyes closed. It was comforting and rather than ruin the moment by calling him out on this rare sense of comfort- she drank it in as if she were parched. Today had not been a good day- the past few days either. Jet and Droy had been there for her and they knew her mood. Had even tried to help, but there was just.. some things that didn’t go away, not even while happily smiling at the chaos of her own guild. - here though, in her own apartment, she could be completely honest about it. And for once, that honest had an opportunity to spill to someone else, if she only dared.

“I’m not strong at all- and I sometimes wonder how I ever became a leader of a team- “

... and there it was. Some of it at least, and her fingers tightened against her own skin. Of course she wasn’t that strong. The very man she leaned against could melt her to nothing with the very hand wrapped around her. That was a given.. and yet-

“...on jobs... I.. I’m so tired of being called a little girl and told to stay back while everyone else does the work... you know?”

You have a very legitimate reason for doing so, and people will understand (if not then they’re not the kind of person you should associate yourself with). You’ll always be welcome back here, no matter how long you might disappear for.
