I always want more information about Damien and Veni since those two are really underrated characters

Sorry they’ve been on my mind for awhile now and I was really wondering if anyone got any information about them together or separately 😅

I already know that veni used to be gatobob’s oc until she traded him for ren’s ownership

Regarding this matter, I hate having to tell the real truth about it, as it takes away the surprise for people. (And it might make people suspicious of the information I give (I don't judge them, I would be suspicious of them too lol 😖😖))

But unfortunately, it's the truth. To avoid writing a long text right at the beginning, I'll summarize: Damien has an incredibly simple story, even though he's one of the characters who, in my view, would be spectacular if well-written and directed.

And Veni is almost discarded from the story.

To be more specific, Damien is the son of Lucifer and Eve. When Cain killed Adam (Yes, EP confirmed on his profile that Cain hadn't only killed Abel, but also his father), Eve ended up having a relationship with Lucifer and fell (became a fallen angel). Years later, Damien was born in hell as a fallen angel who couldn't fly precisely because of that.

Damien was a bad person until adolescence, due to being born in hell and having Lucifer and Cain as role models (Eve too, since according to EP, Eve wasn't a pleasant person either). At some point in Damien's life, a click occurred, and Damien ended up changing sides and becoming a protective and "friendly" person (in a somewhat resentful way).

In the middle of his life, he meets Veni.

And that's where my slight disappointment begins😫😫. As I've said a few times on my blog (I don't know if you still call your profiles that… Anyway, old-fashioned habit hahaha) EP had a terrible problem with the construction of its characters, basically. EP only developed or gave more attention to characters more beloved by the public (I didn't judge them), but I felt that the characters were literally left behind, something that happened with Shiro. A character who has almost no information.

Unfortunately, Veni had been that character. Veni is half-oni and half-kitsune, his introduction was quite small and the biggest one was in the Foxtail comic (love and hate for that).

Veni doesn't have a developed backstory, but there are some small introductions here and there, like the fact that he was the one who helped Vincent (I can't remember why they met).

Anyway, very little or very basic information. I remember when EP redesigned Damien on the TOY website (a character sheet creation site), I still remember that Damien's story hadn't changed much and EP only emphasized why Damien didn't like his father or things of that nature.

I'm sorry for not showing really interesting things about these characters, I also love them dearly (especially Damien because he's a sweetheart). But EP never went into much detail about their stories/changed them frequently. I wish I could have told more, but these are the only answers we have.😭😭
