it depends. if its a personalized poem, like referencing things specific to the writer or receiver, than poems. if not, than love letters. also, it fully depends on if they're handwritten or not. (i know, such a clean and precise answer)

as an umbrella term, childhood best friends to lovers, but more specifically when something in their childhood is referenced back in their love confession
